I should check the number of emails on a folder and child folders combined and move folder inside of a parent folder outside, I will also rebuild the Main Identity if Outlook hang and is slow to download emails. Open terminal: Go to chmod -R +w 'Main identity' folder, located in Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities .
