Page Count On Word Document For Mac Macbook Pro

MacBook Pro:: Text Has Disappeared In Word? Mar 26, 2012 I turned on the computer today most of the documents that I have in Qord for Macc (2008) have much of the text invidible. I tried converting to PDF and the words are simply not their. Some text, such as the ToC and words in tables, remains, but main body text is gone.

You can show the word count, character count (with or without spaces), number of paragraphs, and number of pages in a document. Drag the counter anywhere in the document. To see word count and other statistics for only part of a document, select the text that you want to check—the count. Nov 04, 2006  I remember it took me ages to work out where the word count in Pages was as well. All you need to do is open Inspector, select the first tab at the top (Document) and then from the tabs below, select info.

My problem, i created one text box in a document, somehow 2 more appeared. I made the mistake of thinking that to delete the extra text boxes, i simply highlight them and delete them. Silly stupid me, nothing that simple exists and i have wasted an hour trying to figure it out. The help button does squat, barely gives you any info on a text box much less trying to delete it. Does anyone know how to delete a text box in a word document?

Jun 1, 2012 How do you type over existing text (as opposed to inserting text) on MS Word for Mac Info:MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2009), iOS 5.1.1 Aug 21, 2009 My OSX is 10.5.8(Macbook Air). It is still available on my other computer with the same OSX!! Is there somewhere i can download it? I have tried searching for it on Apple but never found it. I'm having trouble with microsoft 2004. When I select text from a portion of the document (like a paragraph) to change its property (like make it bold, or shift a block of text over by a tab), the whole document (everythiing else that i did not select) moves. This can happen to 200 pages! It's driving me nuts. It's also doing it to new documents.

I have thrown away my preferences file: preferences/com.microsof.Word.plist; and restarted my computer but it keeps happening. I'm trying to finish a huge writing project with deadlines at the end of the week and it's making it really difficult to work. Info: MacBook Pro (15-inch 2.4/2.2 GHz), Mac OS X (10.5.8) Mar 18, 2012 Today, with no major changes at all (or downloads), The screen on my MBP no longer shows the files, folders, and aliases I had set up. Only the Hardrive and Idisk Icons. Everything else is GONE? I rebooted, I relaunched, reviewed preferences.
