Word2011

I run Word 2011 on a MacBook Pro (OS X Yosemite). Disk utility mac format. In a.docx file, I want to begin page numbering with page 1 starting on the third page of the document. While I have had partial success by inserting a section break following the second page of the document, I cannot remove the page numbering from the first two pages altogether. When I delete the page number from the footer of the first page, Word also deletes the page number from the third page (which is the first page of the new section). Similarly, if I delete the page number from the second page, Word then deletes the page numbering from the fourth and all subsequent pages (i.e., pages 2 and following from the second section of the document). As it stands, the document has '1' in the footer of the first page, '2' in the footer of the second page, then on the third page it properly has '1' in the footer (which is what I want), and all subsequent pages are numbered sequentially, as desired (2, 3, 4, etc.). How can I remove the automatic page numbering from the footer on the first two pages without messing up the rest of the document?

All I want to do is have no page numbers in the footer until the third page, at which point the page numbers should begin with '1' and continue from there. Download office for mac ffree

In Font Book on your Mac, install new fonts so they're available to use in apps, and resolve issues with installed fonts. Now, in the Word 2011 for Mac, I can call up the navigation pane (now called the 'sidebar') and view the structure of the doc, but I can't actually click and drag anything in the navigation pane. Other than this, so far my switch to Mac has gone swimmingly.
