I recently signed up for Office for Educators and the office 365 dashboard gives me the option to install the software to use it offline. When I installed it, however, I get a message stating that it cannot be activated because it is 'not the copy of office purchased with my account.' I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, thinking maybe it's because office had been preinstalled to my laptop(without an activation of course) but it still won't let me activate it using my account, even though i installed it through my account dashboard. Any help on this? Should i maybe have gotten an activation code or something when i signed up?
