I noticed a mark on the screen and lightly used the cloth provided by Apple to remove what I thought was a smudge. It then became a 5/6' crack!! I called Apple and the advisor said I was covered by my one year warranty and I should take it to Stormfront in the centre of town and they would send it off to be repaired. A crack is only formed by some sort of force, but the amount of force and the type of force that causes a crack can vary a lot. On some models only a little bit of force is required if applied just right to crack the LCD panel of the Mac. Happy to say that my MacBook Air screen is being repaired under warranty. I took it into the store and they could see the crack originated from a point on the screen where it looked like something had poked it from behind the screen. For example, if you have a cracked LCD panel and your MacBook but your glass and aluminum lid are fine, a lot of shops will replace the entire top screen assembly (lid, glass, isight camera, lcd, lvds cable, hinges, etc) rather than just replacing the bad LCD panel. Mac screen crack. A Mac air book laptop 2008 is now not displaying as the LCD screen was cracked! But it did work even with the crack. When the repair shop/ a non apple shop. The lap top will not display! The screen st read more.

Screenshot by Jason Cipriani/CNET Getting a new phone is always an exciting time. Then the realization sets in that you have to figure out how to get information from your old phone to the new one. For the most part, a lot of the stuff we rely on is synced through various cloud services such as Google or Apple's iCloud and the transfer process is as simple as signing in on your new device.

Mac office 2011 for mac 29386 views the disk is full trying to write to macintosh hd. So, what can you do? Install software that recognizes the “foreign” drives.

But what about the stuff you don't sync, like SMS conversations? Or what if you're switching from iOS to the new Galaxy S7?

Enter Samsung's Smart Switch app. Smart Switch is built into Samsung's Galaxy devices, and you'll also find a USB adapter included in the box with your phone. Don't lose it! That seemingly useless piece of plastic is the magical part of Smart Switch. Jason Cipriani/CNET Plug the adapter into the bottom of your new device, connecting the cable to your old phone.

USB transfer works with older Galaxy devices running Android 4.3 and up, iOS 5 or above, and BlackBerry OS 7 devices or lower. Users of non-Galaxy Android devices can download the app which facilitates the transfer process without a USB cable. Your new Galaxy device will recognize the device connected to it and walk you through the process.

For example, iOS users will need to trust the computer (or in this case, a phone) after connecting the two devices. Another important titbit for iOS users to consider: If you encrypt your iTunes device backups, you'll need to disable that option before you make the transfer.

Hey guys, I usually find solutions online for such issues but I couldn't find any this time. I flashed a kernal to my unrooted version 5.1.1 phone yesterday and shit just went down from there. I have an S6 duos (which there is like a massive lack of information about online btw) model number SM-G920FD.

When I was flashing the kernal I didn't even think about that extra D at the end of the model number so I ended up flashing a kernal for SM-G920F instead and I ended up messing up and needed to go into recovery mode. The genius I am thought there must be a way to get out of this without losing all my data so I flashed a twrp file which (again was for SM-G920F I still didn't notice at this point) and after that I was in a permanent Download mode, when I'd try to go into recovery, text saying 'recovery is not seandroid enforcing' would show up on the top right and it would bootloop. I, of course, decided to find a bunch more files to flash causing a greater ****up and now I just get a text saying 'An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software.' Of course this seems like it would be straight forward and I'd just need to go into the Smart Switch software but The software itself doesn't know my god damn phone model. SM-G920FD is not an available model in the software so now im just completely stuck and have no idea what to do. Does anyone have any solutions?

Thanks so much. Hey guys, I've got a problem.

I got a new phone last week so I thought, let's put android 6.0 back on my old phone. (Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge) Watched some 'how to' video's and after my Firmware download was complete, I started Odin and did everything the video's said.

Now, after a few minutes odin almost completed tranfering the file, but then after 'hidden.img' it said failed. Atm my phone is saying 'Use Smart Switch Emergency Recovery', but that won't work either. And I can't get back into download mode.

Is there anyone that can help me?
